- Episode 4 - What are your thougts ? [Spoiler]In Season 19 octobre 2021Woww Ep 4th worth every minute even the crisis is enterely new and different than the book, the new argumental line provides nuances wich original had not. Also are interesting the Salvor's mental powers, but it is on the edge of canon -even the Seldon plain I'd say- cos remember.... tere must be no psichohistorian in First Foundation.. however nothing says the plan about mentalists... be careful.. is on the edge....21
- Episode 4 - What are your thougts ? [Spoiler]In Season 19 octobre 2021In terms of how this episode is setting things up: I think that Lewis will give Phara and the Anacreonian soldiers the drive technology that they seek in the hopes that they will leave the Foundation alone. However, instead of using it to depart from Anacreon for another world, the technology will instead bolster and strengthen that planet's military and they will later send more troops as per the books. If the claims about the planet dying are really true, then that would represent an excessive deviation from the books. It is possible that they fully plan to stay on Anacreon and want to become the hegemonic power in that region of space. Phara has been far from truthful so far, so it is very conceivable that she added in some falsehoods to maximize sympathy, along with threats, to achieve the greatest chance of success in obtaining the drive technology.21
- Perspective and Gaal Dornik (spelling?) (Speculation) (Spoilers)In Foundation Discussions3 octobre 2021I live you three predictions that I do not know if they will be fulfilled but maybe could explain the end of ep. # 2. 1.- The first is that the murdered was not Hari Seldon because notice that Raich discovers it when he is wrong about the alcoholism of his real father, so I think he murders a robot or spy who was posing as Seldon. .- It is probable that Raich will disappear or die, remember in the books that happens before the departure of the encyclopedists towards Terminus.- 3.- The shipment of Gaal in a capsule is more in accordance with the canon of the books. Remember that Gaal did not go to Terminus but he dealt with establishing the Second Foundation. So it is likely that in the series he will return in the capsule to Trantor for this task. Finally, remember that in Terminus / Foundation there were not, nor could there be, psychohistorians.21
- Speculation (Possible Spoiler)In Season 12 octobre 2021Wow! I really hope not! The Mule has to have his own plot on the show, not another different one.21
- Perspective and Gaal Dornik (spelling?) (Speculation) (Spoilers)In Foundation Discussions26 septembre 2021One thing I wonder about: How does future Gaal Dornick know the Mule exists? Since the Mule only becomes a major player after Dornick presumbably dies in the books, that suggests that the timeframe is different in the show or Dornick receives longevity therapeutics to live far beyond a standard lifespan. The narration seems to clearly establish that Gaal Dornick is alive contemporaneously with the Mule.21
- Community growthIn Ideas & Contribution24 mars 2021Hi ! Thanks for the kind words about the site and for participating in the forum ! You are right because in 2021 it's really a big challenge to launch a community forum outside the usual social networks (facebook, reddit, ...). But it's thanks to people like you taking the time to post on this forum that the community will live thereafter and become more active (I hope) ! :) Even on Reddit I've seen some people who are surprised that there isn't a big fan base in the various "r /" related to Foundation or Isaac Asimov. I also think that when the series starts there will be a lot more people who will be interested in Foundation and the Isaac Asimov's universe in general. Regarding the promotion of the website on reddit threads, I thought about doing it but I saw that a lot of these groups didn't really like self promotion and often it's in their rules. So I didn't do it hoping that someday someone visits the site and decides to share it on their own on Reddit ... :) However on Facebook I collaborate with a group that help me to promote this website and in exchange I put a link to their group via the Facebook page that I manage. There is also a quick presentation video of the website on Youtube 😀 Foundation TV Show / Series Fan Website | Presentation video21

- Episode Three (Spoilers)In Season 13 octobre 2021Well, one of the key points of the plan to be successful is no psicohistorians on Terminus. So, it was clear that neither Seldon nor Dornick were going to make it to the planet (or for the sake of the visuals, they'd been eaten by a horrific entity). I'm afraid there's no point in both killings, but to get our jaws open really down.13
- This week’s episode. In Season 1·30 octobre 2021It was great to see Jarred Harris back again as Hari Seldon and the scenes between him and Salvor were my favorite. This episode felt like it had the most momentum because it touched upon the main characters without sacrificing any of the stories. So far I do like the show, but I want more faithfulness to the novel and I want to feel like something would be accomplished by the end of the first season to that maybe by the end of season two we can begin the Mule storyline. Aside from this, I feel like a can predict what is going to happen and even though I read the books, they have deviated so much that I should not be able to predict anything and I have no special powers beyond some intuition and a familiarity with storytelling.1233
