Stoic, strong and handsome with great regal leadership qualities and a certain amount of pompousness that seeps through the veneer of his role as the Emperor for everyone in the Empire, Brother Day cares much for his family’s lineage, the welfare of the Empire and believes he rules fairly in the best interests of the people, but his ego and arrogance allows himself to be manipulated by Hari Seldon into banishing him to Terminus while simultaneously he ignores the worries of his older Brother Dusk. As chais increases, he eventually is “removed” from power by Brother Dawn following the death of Brother Dusk. His inability to acts fast enough and hubris are what allows him to fall victim to his power hungry younger cloned brother.
